Millefiori


Millefiori ( Italian 'thousand flowers' ) Millefiori is made in Murano Italy by the highest skilled glass master. It is hand cut from long thin handcrafted glass rods specifically for artistic purposes. Millefiori is created by using ancient traditional techniques originally used in ancient Rome and Alexandria. Millefiori adds a beautiful and exotic accent to any mosaic piece. Each piece of Millefiori is unique, measuring approximately 8-9 mm in diameter and 2-9 mm in thickness. They are sold in 2 oz packets (roughly 75-90 pcs) in 10 individual styles and 4 exclusive mixes.
